The Duchess of Pasadena

Synopsis

Alexandra Lorillard, matriarch of the family, is a vigorous unyeilding lady in her middle years - sort of an American Lady Bracknell.

Set in Pasadena in 1909, this delightful comedy is about what happens when the - surprise!

- wife of Alexandra's recently-deceased son shows up to meet the family.

Son Jack, it seems, lived in Japan and married a Japanese girl named Tsubaki.

East meets West in this warm-hearted comedy - and each learns to respect and appreciate the other.
