Synopsis

A huge anthology of pantomime scripts suited to situations in which the performer(s) must do the hardest pantomime of all—create a theatre, a stage and a playing space where none exists.

Then they must silently persuade an unprepared audience to stay and watch and be entertained.

They must perform on street corners, at parties, fairs, carnivals and parades.

To supplement and suggest scripting which will ultimately be largely improvised on the spot, this anthology contains manuscripts best suited to outdoor situations and others best suited to indoor situations, along with microscripts intended to help the performer or troupe move from place to place within the performing space.

There is far more street mime presented and far more street mime bookings available than onstage opportunities.

It is also ideal for classroom use.

An irresistible collection.
