Synopsis
Cecilia and her daughter Lucy go to the estate of Countess Stella where Lucy is to be Stella's companion.
Stella and Cecilia realize that they have both been abandoned by the same man, Fernando.
Fernando returns and decides he must return to Cecilia and Lucy; Stella takes poison and Fernando, despairing, shoots himself.
