Synopsis

We all know people who run – from the police, from their parents, from themselves.

For those who have been physically or sexually abused, often their only safe harbor is in their high school counselor’s office.

Running makes a single, powerful point: for children, adolescents, and adults who have suffered from abuse, help is available.

The drama begins in group, a session where kids who have suffered from abuse meet to fight it out and share.

Like the group sessions in reality, the subjects are intense and stark.

Like reality, some kids succeed in therapy and continue with their lives, while some can’t see the need for help.

Perfect for creating discussion among teachers and students.
