<strong>Pendragon</strong> is a full-length dramatic comedy by <strong>Don Nigro</strong>.

This fine work is part of the author <strong>Don Nigro</strong>'s long cycle of Pendragon County plays, which traces the history of America through the lives of several related east Ohio families from the eighteenth century to the present.

<strong>Pendragon</strong> is a unique American love story.

John Rhys Pendragon is at the Fascist aerial bombing of the Basque town of Guernica in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.

His memories take him back to 1910 and conjure up Mark Twain, Teddy Roosevelt, James J. Jeffries and Ernest Hemingway as the play pieces together his remarkable life, recalls his three lost loves and vividly portrays colourful characters he has interviewed.

<strong>Pendragon</strong> premiered in 1986 at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise, Idaho and enjoyed a sold out, critically acclaimed run.
