Synopsis

The authors of such merry excursions as THE IRREGULAR VERB OF LOVE have come up with another ring-a-ding comedy, this time about a wealthy British Lord, several times married and un-, who has a positive penchant for falling foolishly in love, on the one hand, and for turning terribly apoplectic at the mere mention of the word "communist."

On this occasion he falls head-first in love with his brand-new secretary, and wakes up one morning quite married to her.

In another vein, he is not only convinced that his factories are infested with commies, but he is by george going to shut them down to expose their infiltration.

What he does not immediately know, however, is that the only real threat comes from his new wife who, though she indeed loves him, is forced to render reports to communist spies.

To save him, she decides to run away, and even to have her baby without his knowledge.

But the wise old bird is two steps ahead of everybody, and employs a little of his own technology to bring justice to all and happiness to many.
