Synopsis

A very funny play, demonstrating both the stuffiness and ingenuity of Americans abroad!

A group of soldiers in France would like to "fraternize" with a group of commissioned nurses, but are not allowed to in any of the authorized places of amusement.

So one of them conceives of a "mad ball" to be held in an off-limits night club where the authorities won't not be looking for them.

Laughs abound as they hilariously smuggle out material from the base under the blue noses of the officers, and again as the wily French start blackmailing them.

It turns out the mad-ballers do more good for international relations than all the other kinds of foreign aid added together!

A wealth of fun, constantly surprising with laughter!
