Synopsis
In St. Petersburg during the 1830s, aristocrat Arbenin and his wife, Nina, attend a masked ball.
In a twist of mistaken identity, Arbenin becomes convinced that his wife is involved romantically with Prince Zvezdich.
Consumed by jealousy and pride, Arbenin tragically faces a disaster.
