Constance Beauchamp, an elegant spinster, runs a marriage bureau that caters to the well to do in a fashionable area of London.
She is assisted by a hard working secretary who is set in her ways and prefers an old fashioned filing systems.
Nevertheless, Constance insists on installing a computer.
The odd ball bachelor sent to instruct them on its use feeds his own details through the system to find an ideal mate.
Constance, after some trail and error, is alarmed to discover she fits the bill.
