Synopsis

This hilarious comedy is about the romance between Elsa Ashley, brilliant young piantist-composer, and Val Corbett, successful novelist.

Complications in the course of true love are caused by Elsa's jealousy and Val's fondness for his freedom.

He wants to hold off matrimony, he explains, until he is sure there will be no more quarrels.

Into this impasse strolls Tony Poole, handsome young movie star anxious to have Elsa compose the music for his next picture.

The triangle is complete when Tony falls in love with Elsa and is overanxious for the ties of marriage.

The quadrangle is formed when Phyliss Lundgren, Val's first sweetheart, arrives in the city and confesses she is now just a widow on the loose.

Many laughs are supplied by Mrs. Ashley, Elsa's mother, who sits on the sidelines uttering shrewd observations before finally pulling the strings to straighten out her daughter's life.
