Heavenly Express

The story of one magical wintry night in Santa Fe, when orders go out to watch for a train "with a diamond for a headlight that's running on platinum wheels and shooting all curves like a meteor."

The train is The Heavenly Express, a special hobo accommodation, which has been commanded by God to to pick up all the broken hobos that can no longer see or hear or catch any kind of train but this one, to take them home to their final resting place.

Writing with exciting monologue and memorable rollicking ballads, Heavenly Express is one of Albert Bein's most tender works about the end of life and the ability to forgive.
