Synopsis

Set on an island in the Bahamas this is a play of sparkling, witty dialogue with a comedy-mystery plot that intrigues audiences right through the surprising plot twists that bring down the final curtain.

Kyle and Mickey Kinton, a happy-go-lucky pair of retired jewel thieves, are asked to come out of retirement to help catch a current society robber by their best friend, George Wooster, the detective who could never catch them when they were the most sought after of sophisticated thieves.

Besides the apprehension of the thief, there is a paste necklace and the real one which turns out to be paste, a love story, a divorce story, and constant laughter.

The characters are all interesting and irresistible and bring satire, high comedy, and farce to every scene as they weave their way through the always stmulating and hilariously exciting plot.

The summer stock opening prompted reviewers to say about the show: "...light and witty .... constant merriment ... received with notable success ...

Carmichael has undoubtedly written another play which will be popular ... good characters ...witty dialogue ... good theatre."
