How The West Was Fun
James L Seay
The parts of the dance hall girls, when taken by men, greatly add to the fun.
The scene is an Old West saloon.
A poker game is in progress and the grubby town sheriff is at the bar, getting tipsy.
A man in a dudey western outfit, The Sassafras Kid, enters and sits at the bar.
Suddenly, the swinging doors burst open and the Banker enters screaming, The bank's been robbed!
In the ensuing confusion, the lush sheriff appoints the thief who performed the robbery his deputy.
How Deputy Sassy The Sassafras Kid solves the crime and makes away with the money, makes for a wildly funny comedy with loads of laughs and good western fun.
Don't Get Sassy is a American comedy play written by C L. Helms and published by Samuel French (1972).
