Synopsis
A retracing of the ascent and demise of Rasputin and the fall of the Russian monarchy.
The story begins with Rasputin’s boyhood and finishes with his death: it chronicles his courtly ascendancy, his affair with the Tsarista, and multiple attempts on his life before his eventual assassination.
The story is told through Malloy’s intoxicating indie rock score and Craig’s poetic prose, which together carry the audience through a witty, sexy and bizarre story that is sure to be unlike any you have seen before.
