YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate the lighting department, including personnel management and

scheduling

• Operate the FOH lighting console during rehearsals and performances

• Program, adjust, and maintain the lighting design according to artistic requirements

• Set up, tear down and maintain lighting equipment at each venue

• Monitor and oversee all lighting installations during performances

• Collaborate closely with stage management, audio, video, backline, and the show crew

• Prepare and maintain documentation, patch lists, and technical records

• Organize and supervise the setup and teardown of the lighting system

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

• Communicate with tour management and artistic leadership regarding technical

requirements

YOUR PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed training or several years of professional experience in lighting / FOH operation

• Experience in leading and coordinating a lighting department, ideally in musicals, theater, or

touring productions

• Solid knowledge of lighting consoles, networks, DMX, RDM, modern lighting systems as well

as technical drawing (cad, vwx)

• Creative understanding of lighting design and strong technical affinity

• Resilience, team spirit, and confident presence in live production environments

• Structured working style and strong organizational skills

• Excellent German and/or English language skills
