YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize and coordinate the costume department

• Develop work and workflow plans in collaboration with artists and production management

• Prepare, maintain and supervise all costumes before, during, and after performances

• Ensure proper cleaning, repair and care of costumes

• Safe packing of costume equipment for transport between venues

• Supervise costume changes and assist performers during shows

• Set up and break down the costume department at each venue

• Work closely with wigs/make-up and other technical departments

• Manage costume staff, assign tasks, and ensure smooth operation during rehearsals and

performances

• Maintain a structured, calm, and solution-oriented approach under touring conditions

YOUR PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum age: 21 years

• Completed training as a costume manager, costume designer, or related field

• Several years of experience leading a wardrobe department, ideally in musicals, theater, or

touring productions

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Good knowledge of costume maintenance, repair, and fitting techniques

• Understanding of technical stage operations and workflow

• High resilience and flexibility regarding working hours

• Excellent German and / or English language skills
