Synopsis

Doris is the daughter of the conservative prime minister, and fiance of Sydney, a candidate for the Socialist Party.

On the eve of a federal election, she finds herself standing on behalf of the Women's Anti-Socialist League, and the stage is set for a high-life political comedy in which the forces of socialism, feminism and conservatism fight out an election and an engagement to marry.
