The Greendale Church has been without a resident pastor, and when the pastor of a large city church advertises for a small place in the country, he is hired immediately, sight unseen.

Naturally, when the women get together they discuss the new pastor, who has not yet arrived.

All the eccentricities of human nature have been made part of the cast, and the surprise ending climaxes with genuine fun and entertainment.
