Synopsis

A musical adaptation of Moliere's Scapin with that impertinent comic servant as central character.

He makes fools of his masters, robbing them of their dignity as well as their money.

Basically, the style is Commedia Dell'Arte and set in Italy.

It has twin sets of young lovers, a rock score and rock quartet to sing it.

"Tricks" had a highly successful run at both the Actor's Theatre of Louisville and Washington's Arena Stage.
