Synopsis

The author of the famous play, Belvedere (Sitting Pretty) has composed another vibrant comedy, set in a stylish and hilarious scene.

Oliver is one of the town's most eligible bachelors, a charming man with a bevy of women.

And his profession as a resort broker gives him unlimited opportunities to travel about the world buying, selling, and building famous resorts.

All he needs is a good Girl Friday to keep things in order in his absence.

This he has, too, until the day she resigns because she is going to have a baby.

The replacements offered to Oliver are a comic lot, and include the officious, mothering type of secretary; the wide-eyed youngster who falls in love with Oliver every moment of the day, and similar misfits.

Eventually the old secretary agrees to come back, if she can bring the baby with her.

The irate man across the hall, the building owner, a scandal-sheet gossiper, and two South American ministers-without-portfolio get entangled in the ensuing comedy.

A wonderfully humorous situation, abounding in laughs.
