Synopsis
Charles, a divorced ex-doctor, and Lily, a shy new arrival to Los Angeles from Connecticut, find themselves spending Christmas together in Ensenada, Mexico.
They end up in a room at The Flamingo Motel with only one bed.
He sits.
She stands.
After more awkward attempts to connect, they head to a bar, becoming a welcome distraction for bored, dissolute Richard and Cici.
He's a cocaine dealer.
She's a manicurist.
And they set about making Charles and Lily part of a memorable evening's entertainment.
