Synopsis

Senator Cromwell, an old line politician who keeps his women under stern rule, has a new daughter in law.

When he learns Matthew's bride is a feminist leader campaigning for the Women's Rights Bill due to come up in the same election Matthew is running in for re election to Congress, there is an explosion which shakes the family and threatens Matthew's marriage.
