Synopsis

Ghost story that tells of one Spanish nobleman who loves, and has children by, a foreigner.

Cultural customs will not permit him to marry her without banishment, so he marries another.

He rebukes her, sending her into madness and finally to her death, where she relentlessly haunts him.

Her brother attempts to revenge her death by challenging the skilled swordsman to a duel, with a tragic end.
