Dream a Little Dream
Hal O'Neil Kesler
Caroline Ramsey, 15, has shut herself up in a dream world, refusing to believe that her adored father is dead.
To her, he was the most wonderful man in the world.
Each night, she waits for the 6:15 as though her father will arrive on it.
Her little game of pretending makes a safe little world for her.
A neighborhood boy, Tod Allen, 17, is also trying to run away from the world because the people he loves, his mother and father, are seeking a divorce and he must choose between them.
As Caroline and Tod share their troubles, he helps her grow up and she, using the marvelous philosophy her father taught her, helps him find happiness.
