Pilgrims
Diane Ney
This play is, like its companion pieces in Sorrows and Sons , about loss; but also about renewal.
It is set in a coffee shop/pizza joint run by a middle aged man who has not quite faced up yet to the grim fact that his son was killed in Vietnam.
Helping him deal with his loss is a quirky teenaged girl who works as a waitress in the shop, a would be actress who is just starting to come out of her own emotional shell.
Pilgrims (Metcalfe) is a play written by Stephen Metcalfe and published by Samuel French .
