Synopsis
A Nobel Prize-winning author, whom everyone thought dead, comes back to the apartment where he wrote his first best-selling novel.
The apartment is occupied by an artist and his lady friend who also serves as his model.
The news of the "death" of the author is of international importance, and he does lie down to die, but only to revive again as all of those who were expecting, counting on, or even looking forward to his death turn up, and it is they, the would-be mourners who die, one by one, and in each case under entertaining circumstances.
