Synopsis
In London in the year 1886, the young Inspector John Ruffing tries to help three sisters, all extras in Sir Henry Irving's production of Faust at the Lyceum Theatre, who are being stalked by a seductive but dangerous lunatic named Nicholas who pulls them one by one under his spell.
It takes the ultimate help of Sir Henry Irving and perhaps the Devil himself to save the girls and conquer Nicholas.
A dark, funny and compelling mystery, part of Nigro's ongoing series of Inspector Ruffing plays which includes Widdershins, Demonology, Ravenscroft, Creatures Lurking In The Churchyard, The Rooky Wood and others.
