Domestic Issues
Corinne Jacker
Alan works in Public Relations - he knows how to win friends and influence people, and now works for Big Oil.
He also knows how to seduce women.
At a charity dinner for the rainforest, he has met and fallen for Grace, a lifelong environmental activist.
So when a group of friends gather in Alan's penthouse apartment on the Upper East Side to hold an "intervention" for Grace's alcoholic brother Charlie - a former Presidential hopeful - Alan sees the ideal opportunity to impress Grace with his new-found green credentials.
Also present are Michael and Lauren, a couple whose marriage is on the brink, and Nancy, Charlie's estranged wife.
It isn't long before the evening descends into chaos amid attempted seductions, personal revelations and heated political debate in this topical comedy about sex, lies and global warming.
Greenwash is a British play written by David Lewis and published by Josef Weinberger (2009).
