Synopsis

Herb has just been admitted to the hospital with a non-specific illness where his wife, Edna, confronts him regarding a will, his options, and insists he see her brother, Bruce, a high-powered attorney.

Herb is reluctant, but agrees to see Bruce who, during the confrontational visit, passes out and lapses into a coma.

Bruce is now hospitalized and Herb appoints himself as his watch-dog to assure the medical "idiots" don't pull the plug.

Herb and Edna invite Bruce's wife, Blanche, to move in with them during Bruce1s confinement, all agreeing to take round-the-clock shifts with Bruce.

After a month, Bruce's condition remains static and the situation becomes stressful, leading to humorous conflict.

A human lesson regarding mortality and the inability to change.
