Synopsis

Full-Length Comedy / Christmas is approaching and William Garrett is very happy.

It's 1872 and his three closest friends are over for their weekly meeting of the Shakespeare Study Club, where Shakespeare takes a back seat to poker and no women are allowed.

Nora, his impetuous teenage daughter, is the first to break the sacred rule.

Then the Study Club is interrupted again—this time by a domineering mother-in-law who never hesitates to speak her mind.

The last intruder is Reverend Fowler who stops by for a little Shakespeare and then makes an astonishing revelation that leads to Christmas insanity.

Written by the master of unexpected comedy, this is a happy play to launch your Christmas season.
