| Madam La Solda Dr. Randolph’s mother. A strangely handsome woman rather than theatrically made up. Her clothes are bizarre-looking and she is a walking advertisement for a jewelry shop. She is a medium. |
| Agatha Forbes The witch. Her voice is deep and unusual-sounding. She is tall, slim and moves with catlike grace. She dominates the stage. |
