Philip Dunning (1890–1968) was the sole author or the co-author of a number of Broadway hit plays, including such successes as BROADWAY, NIGHT HOSTESS, PAGE MISS GLORY, KILL THAT STORY, and REMEMBER THE DAY. He co-produced a number of Broadway plays with George Abbott. 20TH CENTURY was one of their big hits. In October 1960, Mr. Dunning was named Editor of “The Dramatists Bulletin,” which was published by The Authors League of America, Inc.
