Michael Meyer is a leading translator of over twenty-five German plays. He has tackled the collections of Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg, bringing to English audiences titles such as THE WILD DUCK, THE MASTER BUILDER, A DOLL’S HOUSE, PEER GYNT, MISS JULIE, THE GHOST SONATA, HEDDA GABLER, and many others. Meyer is also the author of a play about Strindberg entitled LUNATIC AND LOVER, which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews and won a Fringe First Award.
