Maurice Clark was a successful playwright and screenwriter. His first play, TRAGIC 18, debuted at the Charles Hopkins Theater in 1926. It was followed in 1937 by BUTTON, BUTTON, after which Clark turned his attention to the silver screen. He wrote the screenplays for “Three Russian Girls” (1943), “Three Little Sisters” (1944), and “A Boy, a Girl, and a Dog” (1946).
