Matthew Wilkas met his cowriter, Mark Setlock, while acting in THE LAST SUNDAY IN JUNE under the direction of Trip Cullman both at the Rattlestick and Off Broadway at the Century Center. Other New York credits include FAR AND WIDE at the Mint Theatre, CARRIE at PS122, and NEVER TELL with The Broken Watch Theatre Company. Regionally he has been in numerous productions at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Huntington, Syracuse Stage, and the Fulton under the direction of Nicholas Martin, Anna D. Shapiro, Carolyn Cantor, Darko Tresnjak, Will Frears, and Michael Greif. His television credits include “Ugly Betty,” “Hope and Faith,” “Law & Order,” “All My Children,” and “As the World Turns.” Film credits include “Heights” (Merchant/Ivory), “The New Twenty,” “Curious Thing,” and “Sad Sack Sally.” Matthew trained at Boston University School for the Arts and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
