Julie Kramer is a critically-acclaimed writer and director. She directed her adaptation of Rona Jaffe’s 1958 bestseller The Best of Everything at HERE Arts Center in New York, where it was a New York Times and Time Out Critics’ Pick as well as one of the 10 Best Shows of 2012, according to The Huffington Post. Other directing includes Pearl’s Gone Blue (Best Musical – Fringe NYC); Hillary: A Modern Greek Tragedy With a (Somewhat) Happy Ending (New Georges); Mother Load (off-Broadway and national tour); Baby Love (45 Bleecker/Hourglass Group); None of the Above (off-Broadway and New Georges); and Taught and Andrew Secunda’s One-Woman Show (Best of Comedy – Time Out New York) at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She directed three shows for the HBO/US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen; Nixon’s Daughters for The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center in Connecticut; and Baby Love for the Uno Festival in Victoria, Canada and the Mesto Zensk Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
