Dramatist Ian Cullen was born in West Boldon, County Durham, U.K. in 1939. He was educated at the Washington Grammar School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Cullen has written for television, film, and radio. He has also had an illustrious career as an actor, with many roles in British television, including extended periods on “Z Cars,” “Emergency Ward 10,” and as one of the original cast of the Channel Five soap opera “Family Affairs.” Cullen is also a playwright, having co-written TANTALUS with Catherine Arley; TANTALUS is published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
