Most recently, Daya Curley played Joan-Joan in the short film Spit Me Out. She is also helping to develop the character Maura Pfefferman in A Transparent Musical after playing the part in the world premiere of the show at Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She previously worked on developing the new musical Stu for Silverton, in which she played the title role. Theatre companies she has worked with include TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, 42nd Street Moon and San Jose Repertory Theatre, among others. Her appearance in Miss Liberty resulted in a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award, and her frequent work on development workshops and readings led to appearances in world premieres of Memphis and The Haunting of Winchester.
