Dan LaRocque has appeared as an actor in resident theatres throughout the United States, including Houston’s Alley Theatre, The Old Globe in San Diego and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In England, he performed at Alan Ayckbourn’s Stephen Joseph Theatre in the round, and his New York acting credits include appearances on All My Children and The Guiding Light. A professor emeritus at Auburn University, LaRocque served as the associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Liberal Arts from 2011-2013 and as chair and artistic director of AU Theatre from 2005-2011. He also served as a member of the American College Theatre Festival National Executive Committee in Washington, D.C. from 2003-2009, earning the ACTF gold medallion for excellence in college and university theatre in 2007.
