Catherine Arley is a French actress and writer. She appeared in several films in the 1940s and 1950s, including The Death Agony of the Eagles, The Seventh Door and A Certain Mister. She has written several novels, including The Woman of Straw, To Die Without You, Retaliation, and The Government Action. Her play Tantalus, written with Ian Cullen, is based on her novel The Woman of Straw and is published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
