Boyce Loving was a brilliant comedic playwright who authored dozens of full-length plays, including THE ORIGIN OF NECKING (1932), THE PEDAGOGUE (1930), THE WORM (1930), TREADMILL (1937), LITTLE GERALDINE (1938), GALAHAD JONES (1938), which was published by Dramatists Play Service, THE DWARF’S SECRET (1939), WHAT A RELIEF! (1935), TOMBOY (1935), GAY (1933), and MAINSTREET PRINCESS (1941). Loving is also the author of a collection of poems entitled “Mother” (1924).
