Cyrano de Bergerac Tickets
Olivier Award winner Adrian Lester takes on the title role in this acclaimed Royal Shakespeare Company production of Edmond Rostand's timeless romantic tragedy. The brilliant poet and swordsman Cyrano burns with wit and passion, yet his insecurities about his appearance prevent him from declaring his love to his cousin Roxane. When she falls for the handsome but tongue-tied Christian, Cyrano agrees to help his rival woo her with eloquent love letters, never revealing his own feelings.
This new adaptation by director Simon Evans and co-adaptor Debris Stevenson has been praised by critics as "hilariously funny and ultimately heartbreaking" (Mail on Sunday), with The Times calling Lester's performance "perfect". Following a sold-out run at the RSC's Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, this production transfers to the Noël Coward Theatre for a strictly limited West End season.

Adrian Lester makes his RSC debut alongside Ian Charleson Award winner Susannah Fielding as Roxane, who The Stage describes as "instantly charming". The Noël Coward Theatre provides an intimate setting for this romantic drama, allowing audiences to feel close to the action as Cyrano's internal struggle unfolds. The production features haze effects, loud noises including gunfire and explosions, flashing lights and strobe effects that enhance the dramatic sword fights and battle scenes. You'll also experience strong language and smoking as part of the authentic period atmosphere.

Before You Go
Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, though the theatre cannot guarantee entry into the performance once it has begun.
The theatre is easily accessible via Leicester Square Station (Northern and Piccadilly lines), just a 2-minute walk from the venue at 85-88 St Martin's Lane. Bus routes 24, 29, and 176 serve the area, with Q-Park Chinatown and Q-Park Trafalgar offering nearby parking options. Evening performances run Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm, with matinee performances on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2pm. Note that Adrian Lester is not scheduled to perform on Wednesday 22 July.
