Seeking Lighting Designer for our Fall 2026 production of Guys & Dolls

Theatre UP is looking for a Lighting Designer for our Fall 2026 production of Guys & Dolls. We are a non-profit community theatre organization in Littleton, NH. Performances are held at the historic Littleton Opera House.
The Lighting Designer is responsible for the design and installation of the lighting and special electrical effects used in the production. We are a small organization with a great group of community volunteers that are excited to pitch in where needed. The designer would coordinate with our technical director but be hands on for hang and focus and through tech, working with our light board operator and stage manager.

Thursday October 29: Rental Arrival
Run Through for designers
Friday, October 30 &
Saturday, October 31: Hang & Focus - Write Cues
Sunday, November 1: Tech begins with Actors
Monday, November 2: Tech Cue to Cue
Tuesday, November 3 -
Thursday, November 5: Continue Tech
Friday, November 6: Opening
Our production team is hands on, and we work with mainly community volunteers.
The position pays a stipend of $1000, and we can offer you an additional $125 meal stipend for the week that you are here. We will also provide lodging.
