Job Description

The successful applicant should have a good knowledge of general day to day management of productions, assisting with logistic and financials, production budgeting, investors reporting and office management. The ideal candidate must have good experience in this line of work as we are looking for someone you can jump straight into the role.

 

The successful applicant will also be someone who can provide and maintain the right systems and industry practices to enable our theatre projects to progress accordingly as well as provide ongoing proficient administrative support, working closely with the ABP’s Producer, General Manager and accounts.

 

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in a commercial theatre office.
  • A good knowledge and understanding of theatre productions and practices.
  • Computer Literate – Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook/Mail & Mac operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and self-prioritise.
  • Full time commitment of 40 hours per week based in ABP’s Central London office with occasional evening work as required by the business.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide general day-to-day administrative support for producer Adam Blanshay and the General Manager.
  • To lead on production coordination logistics for our Lead Productions and Co-Productions.
  • Assist with the upkeep of logging expenses into our accounting software.
  • Diary Management – schedule meetings and maintain a shared appointment calendar.
  • Completing house seat orders.
  • Reading and evaluating script submissions.
  • Updating the ABP website and social media platforms – under management supervision.
  • Maintaining general investor, client and partner relations.
  • Send investment reports and updates.
  • Assist with the formulation of investment prospectuses for shows.
  • Assist in drafting and proofing contracts and investment documentation (subscriptions, contracts).
  • Manage and delegate tasks to the Production Assistant.

 

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as required by the business.
