Murder on the Orient Express , Spring MainStage Director 2027

We are looking for a director for our Spring MainStage production of Muder on the Orient Express by Ken Ludwig, with performances running April 8-10 on the Yale University Theater Stage, part of the David Geffen School of Drama [full proscenium stage, 640 seats]. The Dramat Board will work with the director to hire a professional/student design team. All cast members will be Yale Undergrad students. The salary for the Director is $6,000. A housing and travel stipend to New Haven will be provided.
Auditions and callbacks will take place in-person between Oct. 30th and Nov. 8th. The rehearsal period is Jan 19th - Mar. 28th, tech period is Mar. 28th - Apr. 7th and performances run Apr. 8-10. The director is expected to be on-site full-time during these periods. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The Yale University Dramatic Association (the Dramat) is an undergraduate organization at Yale College that operates as a student-run, non-profit production company.
