Deputy Head of Sound (Sound No. 2) at Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

 

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie are looking for a full-time Deputy Head of Sound to join the team on the No. 1 UK Tour, touring from11th January 2027 until 24th July 2027. 

 

Description: They will report to the Head of Sound as well as deputising and covering including mixing the show where necessary. They will assist the Head of Sound and Production Sound team in running the fit-up and get-out as required also assisting with rig checks and maintenance as well as any other duties reasonably required as instructed by the Head of Sound, Company Manager, Production Manager, General Managers or Producer from time to time.

Ideal candidates will have the skill to maintain the Production as instructed by the creative team in line with the artistic requirements and direction of the Production as well as great technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and clear and confident communication.

Experience: Candidates must have experience in a similar role in professional theatre, ideally on large-scale musicals.

 

Fee: The weekly fee is in line the UKT/BECTU agreement for similar roles.
