Assistant Teacher

We are currently seeking Assistant Teachers for our 2 and 3 year old preschool classes and 4 year old pre-k classes. Our teachers play an integral role in providing a warm, responsive and supportive atmosphere where children are able to learn and grow in all areas within a developmentally appropriate manner. This is a great entry-level opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain experience teaching young children, or for more experienced applicants as well. Candidates must be warm, patient, able to work in a team, be open to learning new curriculum, and preferably will have experience in the classroom or daycare setting. Candidates must also possess or be willing to obtain certifications mandated by the State.

Classrooms are composed of 8-12 students with 2-3 teachers. Classroom preparation, daily school schedule, and cleaning involved. This is a part-time position. School year schedule runs Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30 from September 8 2026 through June 4 2027, but teacher schedules may end as early as 1:00 PM based on schedule needs.

Position is paid hourly, at a rate of $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.

Typical end time:

•1PM, 3PM, 5PM depending on class schedule

Education:
