Jen Silverman’s Witch is a wickedly funny and subversive fable about temptation, autonomy, and the true cost of getting exactly what you think you want.

ELIZABETH SAWYER: 40s - 60s. Female-presenting. An outcast.

SCRATCH: 20s - early 30s. Male-presenting. The devil.

SIR ARTHUR BANKS: 50s - 60s. Male-presenting. A wealthy and powerful man.

CUDDY BANKS: 20s - early 30s. Male-presenting. Sir Arthur’s son, painfully shy, a Morris dancer. He is secretly in love with Frank (and also in hate).

FRANK THORNEY: 20s - early 30s. Male-presenting. A confident and successful young man, charming and ruthless. His ambition knows no bounds.

WINNIFRED: 20s - early 30s. Female-presenting. Sir Arthur’s servant, resigned and pragmatic, secretly married to Frank.
