DESCRIPTION

The Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays is seeking a high-caliber vocalist to fill the principal role of BARRY for our upcoming 2026 National Tour.

The Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays is a high-energy, family-friendly holiday production featuring dynamic staging, precision kickline dancing, and a mix of classic and contemporary holiday music. Following a successful premiere in Florida, the show returns for an expanded tour traveling from Florida to Colorado from November to December 2026.

SEEKING THE ROLE OF: BARRY

Age Range: 25–35

Vocal Range: High Tenor ( Pop / Jazz / Musical Theater style)

Character Profile: Noel’s boyfriend / hopeful fiancé and a major in the Armed Services. Barry is head-over-heels in love with Noel and plans to propose over the holidays. Kind, witty, an extremely strong vocalist, and a smooth mover with undeniable stage presence.

HAIR STYLE REQUIREMENT:
Must be willing to cut, alter, or style hair and facial hair as needed to achieve a clean, military-appropriate appearance for the role and maintain that appearance throughout the engagement.
DATES & SCHEDULE

Must be fully available for all contract dates.

  • Florida Rehearsals Start: November 8, 2026

  • Opening (Florida): November 27, 2026

  • Closing (Colorado): December 20, 2026 (Possible extension through December 23, 2026)

COMPENSATION, HOUSING & TRAVEL

  • Weekly Performance Pay: $750/week (Bi-weekly pay starting Nov 8, 2026).

  • Per Diem: $250/week while on tour for meals and incidentals.

  • Housing: 100% PROVIDED for the full duration of the contract (shared housing during Florida rehearsals; double-occupancy hotel rooms while on tour).

  • Travel: Flights to Florida at the start of contract are provided. All required tour transportation is fully provided.

  • Completion Stipend: $300 return travel stipend provided upon successful completion of the contract.
