Sunkicks is seeking professional precision dancers with strong jazz technique, clean unison work, and experience in classic kickline-style performance for Sunkicks: Home for the Holidays, a high-energy, family-friendly holiday production featuring precision choreography set to a mix of classic and contemporary holiday music. Following a successful premiere in Florida, the show returns for the 2026 season with a new expanded tour.

This is a touring production traveling from Florida to Colorado from November to December 2026.

Audition Dates & Location

• Audition Date: Monday, August 17th, 2026

  • Virtual sign ups: Sign ups go live on our website and through our Instagram at 7:00 am. Please check out @TheSunkicks on Instagram and visit our website Sunkicks.com - dancers are also welcome to sign in upon arrival but will be added to the virtual cue.

  • Check-in: 9:30 AM (Please arrive warmed up and ready to dance)

• Callbacks: Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Location: Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave, NY, NY

Schedule

Must be available for all dates.

• NYC Rehearsals Start: November 1, 2026

• Travel to Florida Rehearsals: November 15, 2026

• Opening: November 27, 2026

• Closing: December 20, 2026 (With a possible extension through December 23, 2026)

Audition Attire & Prep

• Top: Sports bra or dance tank to show midriff.

• Bottoms: Briefs or booty shorts. (Please NO LEGGINGS or DANCE BOOTS)

• Tights: Skin tone.

• Shoes: Skin-tone dance heels and taps.

• Please bring: Headshot, Resume, Current Measurements, dance heels, and heel tap shoes.

Seeking

• 12 Female Presenting Dance Ensemble

• 2 Swings

• Exceptional technically trained dancers. Must be comfortable with high kicks, tight formations, high-energy ensemble dancing, showing midriff, and hard-hitting choreography.

• Height Requirements: 5’6" – 5’10"

Compensation, Housing & Travel

• Rehearsal Stipend: $1,000 flat stipend for the two-week rehearsal period in NYC.

• Weekly Performance Pay: $750 per week, payable on a bi-weekly basis, beginning with the start of out-of-town rehearsals on November 15th.

• Per Diem: $250 per week once leaving NYC to assist with meals and incidentals.

• Travel to Florida: Set up and provided by the company.

• Return Travel Stipend: A $300 stipend provided upon successful completion of the contract to assist with return travel home.

• Housing Breakdown:

  • The first 2 weeks of rehearsals will be held in NYC. HOUSING WILL NOT BE PROVIDED DURING NYC REHEARSALS.

  • HOUSING WILL BE PROVIDED DURING ALL FLORIDA DATES and Tour. Shared housing is provided during out-of-town rehearsals. During the touring portion of the engagement, complimentary hotel accommodations (double-occupancy rooms) are fully provided.

• Travel Provided: Airline transportation to the beginning of the contract and all required transportation during the term of employment (conducted via company motor coach) is fully provided and handled by the production team.
